The function of mbt shoes:

About MBT
Shoes: MBT stands for "Masai Barefoot Technology," and
the shoes are designed to simulate walking
in sand. It's a multi-layered, curved sole that accomplishes this by
creating a natural but uneven walking surface. This technology is
meant to make the core strengthening
muscles more active, creating better posture and increasing shock
absorbtion for all of the joints. It also makes wearing the shoes
quite a unique experience, and a bit of a
workout.

As an MBT lover I am always looking for 'cute' styles so was excited to get this style because it really is cuter than the other sandals. I have small feet (6-med width) and since my other MBT's fit true to size I ordered these in a 6. They fit perfectly everywhere except in length as my toes hung over a little bit. I sent back the 6 and got a 6 1/2 but they are too wide and sloppy, with no adjustment except on the heel strap. The fact that they are too wide allows my foot to slide forward to the point that my toes hang over even further. I am very disappointed to have to send the 2nd pair back as that was my last option.

Very comfortable, my 2nd pair. These sandals will be great for the warm summer months. I think people are buying them too small, though, after reading some of the reviews. You need to get at least 1/2 size bigger. I'm usually a 9, but bought both pairs in a 10 and they fit perfectly.

Comfortable and stylish shoes - I have arthritis in my feet and these MBTs are the only shoes I can wear - along with my orthotics - for walking. This is my second pair - I have the Sports - and have received a lot of compliments on how great they look. I highly recommend them.

These shoes were a little bit strange to wear at first, but now I love them and just ordered a pair of the Kisumus. I find my other shoes too flat now; I miss the high up rocking feeling. The black ones are dressy enough to wear with skirts and dresses. I'm getting the Kisumus for a more rugged everyday sandal so I don't wear out the black ones too soon.

These sandals are the most comfortable I¡¯ve ever worn! I have them in brown and the white. I have virtually no plantar fasciitis pain when I wear them - excellent sandal.

These were my third pair of mbts. Both of the others were tie ups and the higher sole... so these did fit a little differently. But I JUST LOVE MBTs... they have helped me stand up straighter and tighten up my legs, butt, and calves. Just great shoes... wish I would have found them sooner.
